Premium bamboo organic cotton
Natural comfort of bamboo t-shirts
Very soft. The difference between bamboo viscose and (common) cotton can be described as the feeling of cashmere compared with ordinary wool.
Breathable and moisture regulating. Nooboo shirts do not close off the skin. In addition, the shirt takes relatively more moisture than cotton, which improves comfort.
Insulating or cooling. Because of the structure of fibers, bamboo clothing is cooling in summer and heating in winter.
Hypo-allergenic. Bamboo is naturally hypoallergenic and therefore comfortable to wear for people with sensitive skin or allergies.
UV protective. Bamboo clothing protects 95% of harmful UV rays, with cotton this is 75%.
Antibacterial. The fabric is naturally resistant to bacteria. This means there is much less chance of unpleasant odors.
Bamboo as a sustainable natural resource
100% biodegradable. Unlike synthetic materials with similar properties, bamboo is 100% biodegradable.
Fertilization unnecessary. Bamboo itself has enough energy and nutrients from the soil. Fertilization, whether or not with fertilizer, is therefore not necessary.
Has enough rain. Bamboo needs only sunlight and rain water to grow, irrigation is not necessary. By comparison, the cotton cultivation, depending on the region, consumed per kilo of cotton 8,000 to 20,000 liters of water.
No pesticides. The plant is naturally resistant to insects and fungi, and therefore can be grown without pesticides.
High oxygen production. Bamboo is good for the climate. It absorbs carbon dioxide and produces 30% more oxygen than trees.
Grows fast. Some species grow up to one meter per day. The production yield of bamboo is 10 times greater than that of cotton with the same land area. Several harvests per year are possible. New stems grow easily and replanting is not necessary. This has in turn a positive influence on the soil stability.
